Here are the first 2 books I created with many more to come.
The first is Mail Tales : Going Postal which teaches children of all ages what a mailman (now called a "Letter Carrier") does when you don't see him/her. The books also shows where a letter goes when you mail it and how it gets to where its going - It's Going Postal!
This book was to be placed in the lobby stores of the USPS in 2002. One criteria that the Postal Service was that I change the name from Going Postal to Mail Tales : A Postal Service. Only 500 of these books were printed before the USPS declined the use of the book. Now, I've combined the "original" title of the book with the second title the USPS approved.
I've come a long way since I created this book as an illustrator. I've learned much since 2002. However, I've decided to leave the book in its original form with the exeption of the cover and a few
touch-ups.
The second book is Puck Tales : The Spirit of Hockey(do you sense a theme of Tales). I promise not all of my future books will end in "Tales"! These 2 just seemed to fit.
I wanted to create a book about a sport. I am a fan of many sports, including ice hockey. I think this book shows friendship, teamwork, uniting, trust and determination.
